One-Piece, Seamless Construction

Most clothing is assembled: fabric is cut into panels, then stitched together — and every seam is a compromise. Seams dig, chafe, show through, and create weak points that give out under tension.

Raschelle garments are knitted as one piece, not assembled. The silhouette, the openwork, the contour lines — all of it is formed directly in the knit. Nothing is stitched on, which means:

  • No seam lines — smooth against skin, invisible under layers
  • No weak points — the structure stretches as one continuous whole
  • A cleaner drape — the fabric follows the body without interruption

Warp Knit: The Structure Behind the Stretch

Our fabric is built on warp knitting — a construction where yarns run lengthwise and interlock in a zigzag architecture, loop through loop. Compared with the weft knits used in most stretch clothing, warp knit delivers:

  • High extensibility with recovery — it stretches far, then returns to shape, wear after wear
  • Breathability — the open loop architecture moves air, so close-fitting pieces stay comfortable in heat
  • Run resistance — the interlocked structure resists laddering; a snag doesn't unravel the garment
  • Dimensional stability — it holds its shape through washing, packing, and long days of wear

One Size, Honestly Engineered: 40–75 kg

Because the stretch lives in the fabric's structure rather than in any single row of loops, one size genuinely adapts. Raschelle pieces are designed for a recommended wearer weight of approximately 40–75 kg (88–165 lb, 80–150 斤) — comfortably covering sizes XS to XL (US 2–16 / UK 6–20).
